11 Soul-Shifting Books for Summer 08 Reading
We're headed into those long summer days, when time seems to stand still (although certainly not like it used to when I was a little girl living in Kentucky, and I would wander through our cozy and quiet neighborhood and spend time conversing with the cows), nowadays time is different.
And I do not believe it is just because I am supposedly all grown up. (Not too grown up to still enjoy life and all that its wonders). It's also because we are in a planetary time of ascension and time itself seems accelerated, along with the opportunity to learn many of our soul's lessons. It feels like our curriculum for enlightenment is getting an upgrade, and it is NOW time for us to learn what we need to learn to grow into our Soul's Power and Purpose.
So, today, I wanted to share a list of some of the books that have helped me along my journey, they are in no particular order....
1. A Return to Love --Marianne Williamson
2. The Field---Lynne McTaggart
3. The Power of Intention-Wayne Dyer
4. Power vs Force---David R. Hawkins
5. The Heart's Code---Paul Pearsall
6. The Divine Matrix---Gregg Braden
7. Excuse Me Your Life is Waiting---Lynn Grabhorn
8. The Illuminated Rumi-Coleman Barks
9. The Holographic Universe-Michael Talbot
10. The Power of Now/A New Earth---Ekhart Tolle
11.? (you decide)
I have plenty of ideas on number 11 (a master number) however I would love to know what you think needs to go on this list (or be taken off the list?) and why.
In bright light,
Michelle L. Casto
The Soul Coach

11. The Alchemist - Paulo Coehlo
A story about a boy and his dream and lots of places in between. I have read the book twice, and my second reading was even more powerful and soul-shifting than the first.
Here is one of my favorite quotes from the book:
“The fear of suffering is worse than suffering itself. And no heart ever suffered when it went in search of its dreams.”
- Paulo Coehlo, The Alchemist
thanks for bringing this to us all. the rememberence of living for the soul should be the first goal of the day for everyone. i work for hospice and do my best to bring this out to all I meet. but sadly they are at the end of their life by the time i get to them.
